During my studies in university, I took up a lot of specialisation subjects that related to Machine Learning. The relevant subjects include : Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Mining and Information Retrieval.
Type : Final Year Project Year: 2015/16 Description : Sentence unit detection (SUD) in automated speech recognition (ASR) system is crucial for enriching the ASR output, improving the human readability and process the word stream of the output. The focus is on adding the punctuations to the unstructured word sequence. Result: While being tested on the broadcast transcript, the system achieved the accuracy score of 71.63%
Type : School Project Year: 2016 Team : 4 people Description : Twister is disaster-centric search engine, which source data came from Twitter live stream. The main objective is to analyse Twitter for information on disasters such as earthquake or tsunami. The three main tasks for the system is crawling, indexing and classifying.
